Beverly Beverly, RDA Orthodontic Assistant

Duties: Assist doctor in all aspects of patient care.

In the field of orthodontics since: 2005

Favorite thing about orthodontics: Getting to know our patients and working with great people in this field.

Favorite thing about my job: Watching the confidence increase in a patient’s smile as treatment progresses. Seeing the smiles on patients the day their braces come off.

Native of: Bay Area

Have lived in: Coarsegold/Oakhurst area for the past 5 years.

Family members: Two wonderful children.

Leisure activities: Hiking and enjoying all the activities my kids are involved in.



Janet Janet, Financial Coordinator

Duties: Coordinating customized payment plans to work with each patient’s needs, Accounts Receivable, Insurance Processing, and Practice Marketing.

In the field of orthodontics since: 25 years

Favorite thing about orthodontics: The positive experience of adult patients who have finally received their best smiles, the joy of parents who are able to provide this positive experience for their children, as well as the children who understand that they will benefit from healthy smiles all their lives.

Favorite thing about my job: Working for Dr. Malan and knowing the individual attention he affords each patient for their best results, the caring staff who consider the needs of their patients as their number one priority, and establishing relationships with our patients and their families who have entrusted their orthodontic care to us.

Native of: Downey, CA ( Southern Calif.)

Have lived in: Shaver Lake area for 30 years.

Family members: 3 adult sons, 3 grandsons.

Leisure activities: Community service: Served on the Pine Ridge School Board for 14 years, Teaching Adult Craft classes, Teaching and serving in my church.

Hobbies: Hand crafts: Knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, painting, stained glass, etc. My favorite pastime is enjoying time with my grandsons.



Nicole Nicole, Front Office Coordinator

Duties: Responsible for coordinating patient appointments as well as a multitude of front office tasks. I also communicate with and coordinate the care of new patients to our office.

In the field of orthodontics since: 2008

Favorite thing about orthodontics: It is amazing to see the changes that orthodontics brings to our patients. I love seeing the before and after and knowing what a difference a beautiful smile will have on their lives.

Favorite thing about my job: Meeting new people and seeing them every month for their regular appointments. It is neat to really get know patients and their families over the course of their treatment

Native of: Fresno, CA

Have lived in: Arizona, Utah and New Jersey.

Hobbies: Traveling, reading, cooking, and yoga.

Bet you didn't know: I am licensed in Cosmetology and I spent a year and a half teaching English in Thailand.



Sasha Sasha, RDA Orthodontic Assistant

Duties: Assist Dr. Malan in all aspects of patient care.

In the field of orthodontics since: 2001

Favorite thing about orthodontics: Seeing the before and after results of our patients.

Favorite thing about my job: Knowing that at the end of the day, I contributed to putting beautiful smiles on our patients’ faces.

Native of: Parlier, CA

Have lived in: Reedley for the past 14 years.

Family members: My wonderful husband Jason, 5 beautiful children, 2 dogs and a cat.

Leisure activities: Being my children’s biggest cheerleader while they play baseball and softball.
